Cliffside Mill
Originally constructed in 1899, the historic Cliffside Mill consisted of approximately 411,000 square feet of industrial manufacturing space and represented one of the region’s most significant textile facilities. Davis Demolition successfully executed the complex demolition and deconstruction of the aging structure while maintaining a strong focus on safety, environmental responsibility, and controlled execution.
Due to the size, age, and structural condition of the facility, the project required detailed planning, strategic sequencing, and experienced field supervision to safely dismantle and remove multiple interconnected mill structures. The project involved structural demolition, debris processing, material handling, and site coordination in a challenging industrial environment.
The successful completion of Cliffside Mill demonstrates Davis Demolition’s ability to safely manage large-scale industrial and historical demolition projects with precision, professionalism, and efficiency.

FN America
Columbia South Carolina
.Davis Demolition LLC successfully completed a highly sensitive interior demolition project for FN America involving the removal of a 30’ x 150’ CMU wall located just feet away from an active manufacturing process. Due to the proximity of precision firearm production equipment and ongoing operations, this project required an extremely controlled and methodical demolition approach.
Our team carefully dismantled the wall one block at a time to eliminate vibration, minimize disruption, and maintain the integrity of surrounding operations. Specialized dust containment systems, negative air controls, and continuous protection measures were implemented throughout the project to ensure a completely dust-free environment and protect sensitive manufacturing equipment and processes.
This project highlights Davis Demolition LLC’s ability to perform complex industrial demolition in active manufacturing environments where safety, cleanliness, precision, and operational continuity are critical.
Spartan Mills
Spartanburg SC.
Originally established in the 1850s, Spartan Mills was one of the most historic and recognizable textile manufacturing facilities in the Southeast, totaling more than 1 million square feet under roof. Scott Davis and company carefully deconstructed this massive industrial complex, combining large-scale structural demolition with extensive material reclamation and preservation efforts.
Throughout the project, our team successfully reclaimed more than 1 million board feet of antique heart pine timber along with millions of historic brick that have since been repurposed and incorporated into construction projects across the country. The project required detailed coordination, controlled demolition methods, material separation, and experienced field execution to preserve valuable salvage materials while safely dismantling aging industrial structures.
The Spartan Mills project stands as a testament to Davis Demolition’s ability to successfully execute large, historically significant industrial demolition projects while combining safety, precision, sustainability, and professional project management.
Pelzer Upper Mill
